Binta Badmus Team At Pink October2026

Pink October is a reminder that behind every woman is a story, and sometimes, behind the smiles we celebrate are battles that require more than courage. They require care, support, and a community willing to show up. For Binta Badmus, being part of the Pink October breast cancer awareness event was an opportunity to reaffirm something we deeply believe: celebrating women must go beyond their beauty and what they bring to the world. It must also mean caring about their health, their well-being, and the futures they deserve. As a brand built around women, their stories and the many seasons of life they journey through, we recognise that true advocacy begins when we look beyond appearances and pay attention to the women themselves. Pink October provides an important platform for conversations about breast cancer, encouraging women to be more conscious of their health, understand the importance of early detection, and seek appropriate medical care. Still, awareness becomes even more meaningful when it inspires action.

During the event, breast cancer warriors courageously shared their personal experiences, offering attendees a glimpse into the realities of diagnosis, treatment, and navigating life while living with cancer. Their stories were powerful reminders that behind every diagnosis is a person with dreams, relationships, responsibilities, and a life that continues beyond the illness. Listening to these women reinforced the importance of creating spaces where their voices can be heard, their experiences acknowledged, and their courage met with genuine support.

One of the most moving aspects of the gathering was the practical support extended to some of the breast cancer warriors by the event organisers, who presented tokens of support to acknowledge their journeys and offer encouragement. While no gesture can erase the weight of a cancer diagnosis or the demands of treatment, these acts of kindness carried a meaningful message: you are seen, your story matters, and you do not have to navigate this journey alone. In an especially touching moment, an anonymous donor made a contribution towards radiation therapy for a breast cancer warrior who is still undergoing treatment. This act of generosity was a powerful example of what community care can look like when compassion moves beyond words. It was a reminder that sometimes, showing up for someone means helping to meet a real and immediate need. We celebrate the generosity behind this gesture and hope it inspires more people to consider how they can contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of women facing similar challenges.

Sponsor Banner

Sponsoring this Pink October initiative reminded us that there is a difference between admiring women and actively showing up for them. We are grateful to the organisers for creating a space for awareness, honest conversations, and tangible acts of support, and also opening the doors for us to contribute to a cause. We honour the breast cancer warriors who shared their stories with courage, and we celebrate everyone who contributed to making the gathering a moment of connection and care. We hope Pink October becomes more than a month we observe and inspires a lasting commitment to women's health, stronger communities, and a future where every woman has a better opportunity to access the care she needs.
